FEMA Help for Funeral Costs

Did you know that starting in April, FEMA began refunding families for funeral expenses incurred due to a COVID-19 death? If you lost a loved one due to COVID-19 after January 20, 2020, this is something to look into. You can receive up to $9,000 toward funeral expenses. Take a few minutes, check out the list and see if you’re eligible.

You will need funeral receipts. If you have misplaced your receipts, please contact us for duplicates. The same holds true for any funeral home or cemetery. Please be advised the certified death certificate must state COVID-19 as a reason for death.
